We purchased a home in Parkwood QLD from Shane McStay while still living overseas in June/July 2018, so we only had Shane's communication, the internet and an inspection by my son to go on. Despite being overseas, Shane recognised us as a legitimate buyer and tried to build a bridge to overcome the distance with photographs, descriptions, answers to questions to ensure we moved to a genuine offer stage and to maximise the sell price for his vendors. The negotiation was reasonably lengthy and more challenging due to distance, but through many e-mails\calls, Shane was able to keep us engaged while still holding his ground on price and working with the vendors to be sure they didn't lose a genuine buyer.
