Shane was assigned the sale of a property that was a hoarder's paradise and had lacked any TLC for years. The major challenges facing Shane was finding a buyer (we knew the list of prospects was short) and obtaining a price that was acceptable in a rising interest rate market. To achieve an acceptable contract (after receiving a number of "low-ball offers") and having settlement occur within 9 weeks of signing the Form 6 speaks volumes about Shane's real estate knowledge of and experience in the local market plus his negotiation skills. As with all sellers, we would have loved a higher sale price.
