Shane was recommended to us by our friends who sold recently through him as an agent who "will likely sell your property at the highest price". We knew the minimum price that we would accept, and when we were dealing with Shane, it was always assumed that this is the result we were looking for. Shane suggested auction which would allow us to drive the price higher, as there were not too many similar properties on the market. We sold in Autumn 2023 when the market conditions were quite challenging for both vendors (falling demand) and buyers (harder to get a loan), so obviously we were quite skeptical whether we would get the results we were hoping for. The numbers of bidders was quite low, however it all went smooth and the selling price exceeded our expectations. Shane provided us with the advice how to present property to make it look more appealing without spending too much on renovation. We trusted his professional advise and did basically every job that was suggested. We think this helped us to achieve the outstanding results. Shane also recommended us the contactors (painter, gardener, stager) - I'd say their quotes were quite high and we could probably find the cheaper contractors, but the good thing was that the ones recommended by Shane were reliable and worked as a team - so we didn't have to worry about the timing and managed to do all pre-sale preparations quickly and efficiently without adding too much stress to already stressful situation. One more thing that I'd like to mention is that Shane negotiated the longer settlement for us to make sure we have enough time to buy our next property and relocate - it was a really nice touch, he didn't have to do it, but he did it to make us happy.
