As a seller, I was happy that Shannon worked really hard for me on getting the highest possible price. This is even with additional work and commitment on her side to squeeze out the last few drops of sale price in my favour. There are other agents that simply carry a "something is better than nothing" mentality on the sale price because they are only thinking of their own commission and how to get it as easily as possible with the least amount of work. In their minds, getting a sale today with no additional/extra work and then trying to twist the seller's arm into taking 1 or 2% less sales price just so they can get the sale on their books today and line their own greedy pockets today is a better option for them. I find this so frustrating and unethical when agents act this way. Shannon does not do this. If she thinks she can get an extra 1% or even just an extra $500 out of the buyer, if it means taking another two or three weeks and more hard work and more effort on her side to get this, she will do it and do it happily. It is great to have an agent working for me that is absolutely and completely working for me as the seller and for the seller only.
