Sharon and Joey were incredibly personable and open to answering any questions we had about the property and walked us through the sale and settlement process. Sharon and Joey were very accommodating and patient as we inspected the property several times. Their communication was honest, transparent and professional, resulting in an efficient and seamless purchase. We cannot say enough good things about Sharon, she's brilliant! We chose Sharon as she was recommended by a friend who raved about her honesty, problem-solving skills, and professionalism, and Sharon and her team (Diana & Joey) certainly lived up to that reputation! Sharon's skills reach far beyond simply marketing a property. We needed to replace the full extent of our bathroom before our home could go on the market as the waterproofing had failed. The house also needed repainting, and a few other odd jobs done. Sharon has a keen eye for design and planned a beautiful bathroom, picked gorgeous tiles and vanity, and basically project managed the whole thing. She has many building contacts and was able to connect us with a firm who provided a quality service for the whole of the project. She problem solved numerous issues to do with the supply of materials, to timing, to aesthetics and relentless rain, often under some pressure. Sharon and her team were exceptionally responsive to all of our questions, big or small, of which we had many as first time sellers! The team took real pride in the service they provided and a lovely instance of that is the Easter Egg hunt they set up in the garden at an open house over the Easter weekend! Sharon knows the market very well and gave us honest and realistic price expectations from the beginning. We were impressed that the guide price was practically spot on and feel that we would happily buy a property through Sharon as well as sell one. We sold our property before auction for a reasonable price and we are so pleased it went to a young family who can enjoy bringing up their children and making great memories in our dear old home of seven years. In the 2 months I had to deal with Sharon, I experienced nothing but anxiety & anger due to her consistent carelessness & sneaky behaviour. Carelessness: On one occasion, Sharon left my antique French chair outside in the rain despite me asking her to bring it in after inspections as it was only to be used for staging.On another occasion, I went to the property to find the front door wide open! It had been left open for a few days because Sharon forgot to close it after her last inspection (thanks CCTV). As I don't live in the area, this resulted in me having to travel 1.5 hours round trip after all inspections to check on the property. There were many other examples of Sharon’s carelessness, but I can't go into detail due to the word limit. Sneakiness: I was made an offer by the purchaser which included “a 5% deposit”. I assumed this was a holding deposit as the contract clearly stated the full deposit was 10% of the purchase price. When I asked Sharon to clarify, she said because I wasn't purchasing another property, 5% deposit was the norm. At no point did she tell me I was entitled to the full 10% or the risks of only accepting 5%. Namely, in the event the purchaser defaults on the contract, whilst they are legally liable to pay the remaining 5%, legal precedent in NSW indicates it is extremely unlikely a court will enforce it as the legal system deems it as a “penalty.” Also, you have to pay for the litigation process to recoup the remaining 5%. By contrast, I note that in her agency agreement, Sharon will still take her commission in the event the purchaser does not go ahead with the sale. Yes, she covers herself if a purchaser defaults but doesn't inform you of your risks should you accept a 5% deposit instead of 10%. Sharon also tried to charge me $95 to put the sold sticker on the signboard AFTER I had already paid nearly $6K in marketing fees! Her only saving grace is her assistant Diana.

We had a wonderful experience with Sharon as the selling agent. She was generous with her time and very warm and engaging. We can see why the owners of the house we bought chose Sharon. Both she and Dee were very accommodating and responsive with our requests.
