Sharyn was friendly and listened to what we had to say. She gave us welcome advice on who to contact to fix some areas like cleaning up the yard and fixing a door. I felt she underestimated the potential of the property and it was difficult to convince her of that potential. That may have perhaps been influenced by the opinion of another agent who gave us a recommended listing price first.. Her suggestion of "offers over...." was therefore appreciated and meant we obtained a price very close to what I felt was fair and 24% above the original suggested listed price and 26% above what it was suggested we accept but he other agent. I believe both found it hard to look beyond the "clutter" to see full appeal and market value. My suggestion to others is tidy up fully before getting an agent to value the property. Sharyn was very professional in her dealings with us. However the feedback from some people who viewed the property was that they felt rushed and had insufficient time to look at a larger property. On meeting the purchasers since there were many things they were not aware of...eg we replaced 3 cracked windows put in a new glass door in the laundry and laundry tub. Had viewers known those things it may have affected offers. However our own experience of Sharyn from a purchaser perspective when viewing a property with intent to buy was not that. She gave us a lot of time to view on two visits. I would recommend Sharyn as an agent and would be happy to engage her services if we moved again
