We initially went out to 3 agencies basing our decision primarily on quality of communication, professionalism and knowledge of the local market over costing. We as a result opted for Vernon Partners over the larger big brand agencies fronted by Shelley McShane. Whilst David Vernon (the owner) was actively involved in the campaign and at all viewings, Shelley was the driving force from start to end. Her communication was second to none. I was updated daily on the campaign, provided detailed feedback on every potential buyer as well as being contactable at any time. I felt that she was consistently very transparent and honest at all times and most importantly I did not feel that our expectations on the sale price was being managed down at any given time (which can often be the case). We had several offers at the end of the campaign and Shelley managed the process extremely well ensuring through her negotiation skills that she not only secured us the best price but also a straight forwards and easy settlement process. Shelley did a fantastic job of selling my home in Mosman.
