As buyers we were very aware that a vendor’s agent is exactly that and not to trust anything they say. The property buying market Is very much a buyer beware scenario. We saw 3 year old homes our building inspections suggested they were bordering on being substandard but couldn’t be classified as major structural defective. So during our search for our new home, we experienced why you don’t trust anyone else but yourself and your own team. Learn from each experience and go in with your eyes very wide open. However, as we look back at the process we just went through, Shenea proved to be an agent that while obviously working for her client, also was “on the level” and keen to not demonstrate something the property wasn’t. She was keen to resolve/answer any questions quickly and be available when certain checks were requested. We really appreciated her can-do, friendly and genuine approach. We thank Shenea, Indy, Dean and the rest of the team for treating us in a way that was not expected, not just another email address or phone number to spam with, but as real people. Sure, an agent has a job to do and earn a living too, and we had to go through the process as well. The manner how that process is conducted can be a life long memory for the worse, or in our case, the best.
