LJ Hoooker Kallangur had been managing my investment property for almost 20 years, so it was only natural that when it came time to sell that I engaged the services of Simon who has been selling properties with LJ Hooker Kallangur for longer than I had been a client. As this was my first experience selling, I did enquire with other agents to get a feel for the market and see what other agents had to offer. None of them could offer what Simon had; experience with the local market, and because I was an interstate seller, the willingness to manage the entire sale on my behalf. His advice regarding what to do in order to prepare the house for sale was honest, as was his advice with regards to marketing and price point. Selling a house from a remote distance could have been difficult, but Simon took care of everything, from arranging new carpets, painting and cleaning, to any outstanding maintenance issues, keeping me informed at every step both with the preparation for sale and during the sale. In the end, the whole process ran very smoothly and only took about two weeks from start to sale; in fact, the house was on the market for less than week before it was under contract for more than asking price. This is testament to Simon's wealth of knowledge and experience of the market and extensive base of prospective buyers, something I doubt other agents can come close to comparing. I highly recommend Simon as a seller's agent and would not hesitate engaging his services again.
