We first met Simon at a property in Port Melbourne. Simon listened to our requirements and identified that the property wasn't quite what we needed. Simon kept us up to date with what was on the market then when we found the property for us he worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed to bid at the auction. I met Simon when I bought my home through him four years ago. He struck me as a tough but fair back then. Over the years he kept in contact, and I'd regularly bump into him and his family in the neighbourhood. He advised me on what improvements I should and shouldn't do to the home. So when we were thinking of selling, he was keen (but not pushy) to help. Max and him made a great duo, helping us think through how to prepare and market our home, not to mention bringing flowers to keep my wife smiling. In the end, stressful as any auction sale is, we got a result ahead of our expectation. He also coached me through buying another house at auction that wasn't with Greg Hocking, a thoughtful touch around a moment of uncertainty that most of us have little experience in.
