Yes he is a phenomenal sales person in that he asks the right questions to build rapport and gain an understanding of what his clients are looking for, he understands his product in that he "gets" his clients homes and the emotional connections they create, he knows his market in terms of the area, future development, local amenities and all the things that a quality agent would know, and he has a vast data base of connections that he can introduce to different properties. But it is the personal connection that he makes, not only with the clients on the sales side of the transaction, but on the buying side as well that sets him apart. Simon was straightforward to deal with and very approachable. I wasn't just buying property, which in itself is a major investment, but a family home, so felt a lot of pressure to get it right. Simon was very understanding of this and and not at all pushy. He was very helpful, an example of this is that he replaced a globe in my newly purchased home that I noticed was missing (which he wasn't obliged to do, nor did I ask him to).
Simon initially approached me wanting to show some of his clients through my parents' house when he heard that it was on the market but probably with another agent. He presented me with 2 offers that afternoon, both above the other agent's sale price prediction. My house is ideal for a couple (young or old), or tenants happy with something smaller in the area. Simon organised an interior designer to improve the presentation but the bottom fell out of the market. Rented very easily over the last 6 years. His recommendation to remarket it recently was spot on as was his sale price projection. Very happy to recommend him.
