He was open, knowledgeable and courteous. His documentation was first class. 2. I was also impressed by how well he was rated by a friend whose house he sold After signing the agreement with Simon right up to the auction, Simon's communications with me were most timely and informative. The web site and the video were excellent and really did a great job presenting the house. I thought from the first that it was a great advantage that Simon was also the auctioneer. This was proven correct on auction day when his skills gave us an outstanding result. I regard Simon as a consummate professional in every way an he has my highest recommendation.

We engaged Simon to sell our principal place of residence as well as our investment property in Brighton. We had only had the Brighton property for less than 12 months and had perhaps paid too much for it at the outset. so It was imperative that we didn't loose too much money on the re-sale. Auction had no bids but we were not too disappointed as Simon was open and honest through the whole process and we knew full well that there wouldn't be any. Simon kept at it after the auction date and within 5 days took another buyer through the home, negotiated a sale which was more than we paid for it, and the sale was made. At one stage I felt worried that I had engaged a Bentleigh agent to sell a Brighton property but my worries quickly subsided. Simon is young but don't let that deter you - I googled him and quickly found out that he is one of the highest achieving sales people in his office (& he has proven that to me). He is energetic & clearly passionate about his job. His communication is great - very open & honest whether you want to hear it or not (but respectful at all times) - and this is essential when your biggest assets are being sold. We bought the property in late 2012 through Simon at our first time inspection. We met Simon through a referral from a "find an agent" web site. I had already met an agent from Hodges and discussed the sale.
