I decided to sell with Simon because he "got" my property. Being an atypical space with cathedral ceilings, exposed bricks and colour, I needed an agent that would understand that the property would attract a buyer that wanted something unique. I knew he understood that when on a first look, he described it as a "destination property" that would attract people from outside of the area. With that in mind, and after graciously agreeing to pair up with Tom Davidson from the Brighton office, we came up with a marketing plan that would suit my property and reach not only a large amount of people, but the right ones. The eventual buyer was from across town, and they weren't looking in my area at all, but the marketing reached them anyway. Throughout the process, Simon checked in, and kept my expectations and nerves in check during an odd and unpredictable market. I sold for a little over the range (that was increased during the campaign) after passing in and a negotiation with the top bidder. Simon was very kind and patient during that process.
