We contacted Sinead originally out of working hours and, without hesitation, she took the time out to discuss our property and putting it for sale in the near future. We are currently no longer located within the Townsville and live in a different state. Without even meeting Sinead in person her professionalism and dedication to her job was a stand out. Throughout the process of the sale Sinead made very regular contact. She was respectful of our tenant and worked very well in ensuring a positive no stress process for them. So I have been at the other end of the state for the entirety of this deal. Sinead has gone out of her way to get things sorted for me. Her knowledge of the area is second to none and she is very relatable. It seems like she works 24 hours a day 7 days a week and has sorted some of my issues on weekends and in personal time if need be. We contacted Daring and Young because we were completely disallusioned with a larger Townsville Real Estate firm who had managed our 'investment property' for 13 years. We had a history of bad management and bad tenants so we decided to sell. Fortunately for us we were given Sinead Ormes as the agent to handle our sale. It is very hard to put into words our feelings about Sinead but she is professional, caring, personable, a great communicator, honest, trustworthy and thoroughly a nice person. Because we are not located in Townsville Sinead was not only quite willing but insisted on going the extra steps required to ensure a sale, even to the point of getting her partner (free of charge) to mow the lawns of the property due to the lack of labour in the area after the Townsville floods, so the property was more presentable for sale. She kept us fully informed throughout the sale process and we developed a very good business relationship and she was always available to assist or advise us. She was a pushy or high pressure salesperson. A quote from her we will always remember. When we told her one day to go ahead with some negotiation we said it was ok and that we trusted her. Her reply was 'Yes you can trust me. No. You should trust me!' , and we do completely. She is such a good agent and nice person there is a down side to the sale. With the sale now done we will miss Sinead in our lives. She is brilliant.

I contacted Sinead to help me with the sale of our house in Townsville. I live in Tasmania so it is a challenge to co ordinate it all. The house needed some work and she suggested where and who we might get to help us. This was a very long process to get the house ready for sale but she never got impatient. She even went shopping and helped with the styling for the photos as I was not able to get there to do it. We had an offer on our house within 5 days of it going on the market and it was just a small drop in asking price that we did. I was overseas at the time and she kept in contact with me. The whole process went very smooth and our house settled about 6 weeks after being listed.

Before I comment on Sinead Ormes as our Real Estate Agent on our current sale, I must point out that Daring and Young Real Estate where Sinead is employed would have to be one of the, if not the most outstanding real estate agencies in TOWNSVILLE from our experience. Prior to the sale of this property it had been managed by Stevie Fisher who is also part of the wonderful team at Daring & Young. She is a superb property manager; professional to the end and always meeting our needs! It was excellent to have this one stop shop experience and then to flow onto Sinead Ormes in sales. Sinead without doubt was professional and an excellent communicator and kept us updated at all times. She was extremely realistic with pricing and put a very strong case including excellent evidence based research which we were happy to quickly approve. Sinead was met with a very challenging situation with our sale having the property tenanted and a 12 month lease in place. The successful purchaser was a first home buyer which meant Sinead’s amazing communication skills and incredible ability with thought out solutions was able to and in a very timely manner relocate the tenant into the purchasers rental. What an enormous achievement this was under the current rental situation due to a lack of rentals from the Townsville floods. Sinead very quickly developed professional relations with both parties and built strong trust which enabled this very challenging situation to flow smoothly and without any hold up with the settlement date.
