It was pointed out that the property wasn't correctly evaluated from the start and a drop of approximately $30,000 off the asking price was recommended. The times shown online and in the paper for the OFI were not the same at one point. It felt to me that we were left in the dark and had to constantly call to get updates and things were being done without our knowledge eg. The 'under offer' label on www.realestate.com was taken off without letting us know. We were also unaware that our first purchaser (who never came through) was unable to be contacted for three days until we came in to sign a lease for another property. Conversation between solicitor of purchaser and agent were not relayed to us. The conversation when their solicitor said to the agency "You know he is not going to buy it." Would've been good to know.
