I chose Stacey because there are some Real Estate Agents in Mackay I don't trust. A so-called friend JA (work out who it is) corrupted over me. At least twice! Dangerous. Another one - AF (work out who it is) - is a hideous Racist. Dangerous to First Nations. There are others. Agents and Agencies. I don't want commission to go to bad Agents. Beyond those reasons, I chose Stacey because she has an excellent reputation. Stacey has been a Real Estate Agent in Mackay for decades. She has long established networks and knows the market well. Stacey doesn't only respect Vendors she receives commission from, she also respects Tenants. I offered my house to sale to my Tenants at a discount, but they didn't want to buy. Stacey tried not to invade too much on my Tenants while doing her job. They established a respectful relationship. When Tenants had a very serious medical issue, and called Stacey, she then called me and Open House inspection was cancelled. Stacey has an excellent work ethic. She is genuine, polite and friendly. She kept me informed as needed. After business hours too. Although that wasn't necessary, I know Real Estate Agents can be overloaded and don't/can't work strictly 9-5 hours. No contact from Stacey was ever nuisance value. I have no hesitation recommending Stacey to Vendors. You won't be bitten or played.

As helpful as Stacey was, I never met her in person, was rushed at every chance so she could not have to answer to much and shied away with the, “I’ll get back to you” statement. Her assistant was the only helpful one. Upon hand over of the property it was found the water had been turned off, which was fine, only to find a present in the toilet that was unable to be flushed. The only person between the inspection and the settlement was the realestate agent. Would have been nice to attempt to dispose of with a bucket or at least pass on the information rather than a surprise of a passed dining experience. Over all, there was other information Stacey did not ensure to pass over to the buyer from the seller. The seller and I had direct contact which helped but the seller had advised the real estate agent to pass on the information. I certainly won’t be using her again, it’s take. Me a month or so to stop being so angry with the situation.
