Bought my first home In hallam through this agent called Stan apparently the Principle agent or director for Biggin & Scott real estate. In the process of building and pest inspection we found Multiple issues including broken roof tiles, rodents etc and the biggest one being the alteration they made to the roof structure above kitchen and when I asked the agent he said yeah no problems he will get the council permits and all other paperwork from the owner as it was done by a licensed carpenter but because he is away interstate he will get is within a week which I never received to this day. when I went to sign the contract there was a lot of rubbish around the property so I wanted to put a special condition in the contract but instead he said oh you don’t need it he shook my hand and said you have my word I promise I will get all of that removed before settlement well guess what it’s 2 weeks passed our settlement and the rubbish still in the backyard. This agent is Very cunning and dodgy just stay away do not buy or sell properties through this real estate and if you do make sure everything is written in the contract DO NOT RELY ON HIS PROMISES THATS HIS DIRTY TACTIC.
