The whole experience was extremely stressful, thanks to Steve. I would NOT recommend him. I question his professionalism and his approach to selling our property. Steve is very personable and a salesman. He rang me on several occasions for updates, creating a repore. Unfortunately, we were still grieving the loss of our mother and due to circumstances took the easy option choosing him. We should have done our research before listing our property with Steve. He under estimated the value of our property and would not commit to a listing price when we asked because we now believe he didn't know. He preferred to say "what would you be happy with". We had to use the value of what other agents gave us when listing it on the market. He was really upbeat and positive until we signed the contract telling us he had a buyer with coin... and an extensive data base etc. The next week was doom and gloom from there after. Thats when we lost confidence in him. We made it clear from the start that we were not in a hurry to sell if it meant selling under value. He constantly requested us to drop the price. When we did, he didn't put a price range, which limited our bargaining power. Our property compared to others on the market was of a much higher standard. We believe he wanted a quick sale. He undermined us by dicussing marketing and price with a third person without our permission, this caused unnecessary friction in the family. He agreed to stop when told. He appeared to be working for the buyer, not us. Pandering to the buyers requests. He promised the buyer a quick move in / settlement date, which he couldn't deliver and we didn't agree to. He didn't work hard enough to get the best price for the property. Had we listened to Steve we would have received far less if we had not threatened to take it off the market and held firm for a higher price. On reflection we should have listed the property with another more reputable agent in the area who knew the property value.

Stephen Thomas and his son Rhys were extremely professional and friendly, and best out of all the real estate agents in our area. They were able to sell our house efficiently and at an excellent price. We cannot recommend them enough and we are very happy with their efforts and they were an absolute pleasure to work with.
