I had been trying to buy a house for a year with a budget of $620,000. This house was up for offers over $549,000. I thought I stood a reasonable chance but because of intense competition I engaged a Buyers Agent, Nick Esplin, to assist. After trying at $605,000, Nick said I needed to go higher than that & I secured the house at $635,000, well over budget; however I am pleased that I was at long last able to secure the property. However, it should have been marketed at 'offers over $600,000' so that potential buyers would be better informed about the likely eventual price. Without Nick's advice I would never have got the house. I believe Nick dealt mainly with Cory Lindh & I found the joint efforts satisfactory.
