Decided to write this as being the business / most active agent does not always mean the best. Items that needed to be addressed. 1. Price was offers over however the advert wording stated you could buy it for the actual number listed. Seeing that Steve was confident he would get the sale above what we had it listed at it was very clear this wasnt going to happen. IT took me 2 attempts to get this changed. This probably cost me 10-15k 2.Phone call to secondary agent (Steve's son) whithout saying who I was, I was left very uninspired as he didn't know anything about the property 3. Very little communication following open homes or private inspections, except a generated RP data report which i didn't get most weeks but tells you nothing anyway until I mentioned it was acceptable 4. Negotiation was very poor, or thats how it appeared as I have no idea how Steve was negotiating with the buyer. After using 3 agents in the area to sell this property the experience was by far the least superior. yes he sold the property but then that wasn't hard when it was 30k less than the other agents had sold it for and $20k less than I bought it for 10 years ago. The most disappointing experience is Steve is so detached from the process so don't expect to get his experience, ensure you interview who the person is that will be selling your house for you. I can however say that Fiona in the office is lovely.
