Steve came to us with an already high regard from previous customers and this was confirmed in his dealings with us. His friendly manner, local knowledge and professional acumen, convinced us he knew what he was doing, assuring us that he had our best interests at heart. While showing a strong passion to help us sell the house, he was respectful of the fact that it was our family home and was difficult for us to part with.
He was challenged on some of his proposed strategies and costs but was always patient and respectful, giving good explanations for his ideas. His suggestions for the family in preparing the home for sale were quite more extensive than we had envisioned but proved to be the right thing to do, even though at times we wondered if it would just be bought and bulldozed for development at a lower price than was hoped for.
Steve’s decision to seek a sale before auction was validated when open houses and auctions were cancelled due to Covid-19. Inviting some interested buyers, he and his co-worker, Yilli Ma, organized an 'after hours' auction at their office to avoid coming Covid-19 restrictions, and succeeded in getting an amazing price for the property
Steve, along with Yilli Ma, was able to obtain a price well beyond the reserve we had decided on. Steve was able to build up trust and rapport not only with us as vendors but also in his dealings with buyers without compromising the excellent sale he obtained for us.
