Steve Deppeler is Director of Harcourts Rosebud and an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria. As an active and fully licensed estate agent and accredited auctioneer for more than 30 years, Steve has extensive experience of all facets of the real estate industry. He began his career with one of Melbourne’s most respected boutique agencies in 1979 and since then has established himself as a market leader having served on various Institute committees and leadership roles. In 1992 Steve was able to apply his agency experience as Operations Manager Vic/Tas for one of Australasia’s largest and most progressive real estate groups. In addition to overall management of member offices, leading the recruitment of new member offices and training, he was responsible for the professional development of member agents and administration staff. He maintains a strong connection with real estate professionals throughout Victoria and the knowledge and expertise gained through the corporate real estate sector has been of enormous benefit ever since. An exciting opportunity arose in 2000 when the well-respected agency Henderson Real Estate business became available in Rosebud. Steve quickly took the challenge and acquired the business and transformed it into one of the leading and most respected independent agencies on the Peninsula. As sole director of Henderson’s, Steve took the opportunity to connect with many members of the Rosebud Community as clients, property owners and local business owners and so built lasting relationships which continue to this day. The Hendersons/Harcourts merge has resulted in a highly productive partnership which now boasts the largest rental department south of Mornington. Over the course of his career, Steve has earned numerous awards and received many testimonials which confirm the respect in which his peers and clients hold him and is testament to his unwavering enthusiasm, energy and passion for the industry.
