My agent, Steve, who's job role is technically just to sell my house- fit his brief and then some. In a world where so many people fill their professional positions to the bare minimum, Steve went above and beyond. Whilst my house did sell, and I was satisfied with the price that Steve was able to secure, in the end- this was the least significant part of the service he provided. The stress and emotion that I previously mentioned, was aided by Steve's innate desire to help those around him. He didn't simply want to see my house sell so that he could secure a commission of his own, he wanted to see my house sell because that is what would have made my life easier- and that's what really counted, and what I'll remember him for. His attention to detail, willingness to help at any and all hours of the day, and personable nature, made the process much more bearable than I could've imagined.
