Steve had a good knowledge of the market. He kept me updated on the situation in regards to prospective buyers. Also handled a number of challenging situations in regards to a prospective purchaser. Overall I was very happy with the outcome.

I recently sold a property through Steve at Harcourts that was also managed by them as a rental. As a property manager for a rental Harcourts are excellant but as for selling my property it was frustrating. I had to constantly chase Steve for updates even after saying it was a concern. His comission percentage was a little high but he said it could be negotiated on settlement but was never mentioned again. As a first time seller some mistakes were mine as I didn't know there were other options but I would not recomend him after this experience.

On the positive side, Steve communicated clearly with me on the progress of the sale. He was able to achieve the price I expected for the property. He followed my instruction in regard to a difficult issue with the purchaser.

Due to my previous dealings with Steve I did not hesitate to engage him a second time for the sale of my sons unit. Once again I was very happy with the open communication and feedback that was provided by himself and his staff. I can't really say I had much to do with Steve as all agents work as a team for sales, which I think is a good approach. Steve was professional and updated me on the progress, or lack there of, of the sale on this property. This ensured that I kept communication open with my solicitors and was able to address some issues straight away. Exchange happened quickly thereafter. I don't feel I can comment on negotiation but, as there were no issues here, I can't not give a top score.
