We sold our house in Brisbane and were looking for a property on the Gold Coast,downsizing for retirement. As buyers we dealt with many gold Coast agents with varied levels of professionalism. When we found the property we finally bought we came in contact initially with Steve Weir, (and his brother James) and found him to be everything you wish of an Real Estate agent. He was very informative, courteous and nothing was a bother. He carried out his role as the sellers agent with the highest professional standard. There were some issues with the property and Steve was able to deal with these, whilst keeping us informed. What was noticed by us was whilst looking after us as buyers, Steve actively looked after the sellers interest, not only in the sale but also helping the seller find the property they wanted to buy. Both Steve and James Weir are examples on how good professional agents should be. They were a breath of fresh air for us after many months selling our home in Brisbane and looking and buying on the Gold Coast. We've dealt with James before but this is our first experience with Steve. They are certainly a great partnership. In this case James was our first contact to list our property. He certainly talks the talk BUT more importantly he, along with Steve, walks the walk too. If he says they can sell it , it will be sold, maybe not for what you would like but for a fair market price.

The Weir Brothers approach was courteous and professional and the sale process was quite seamless. They presented me with their recommendations, but then worked with me to tailor the advertising campaign to suit my requirements. Steve was the primary contact for my sale and kept me informed. He efficiently managed the various aspects of the sale (professional photography, advertising, inspections feedback), including his attendance to facilitate the buyers' conditions for the sale.
