From start to end Steven was very detailed in his responses to our queries during inspections, very prompt in his follow up and extremely knowledgeable in sharing his insights and experience in properties of this calibre. Coupled with his knowledge and expertise, Steven also has extensive experience in the building and construction space, which helped us immensely as first time buyers of a new build. His advice and suggestions regarding capacity for further enhancements to the home and the various processes throughout the purchasing journey put us at ease and felt like a partnership through the buying process. We were especially taken aback at Steven's after sales process, which was completely refreshing and unexpected considering the experiences of friends and associates of ours who have undertaken the same journey as us - his engagement, level of support and assistance, and general care was more than we could have hoped for, which was very helpful considering some challenges we had post our purchase. Steven is a fantastic and charismatic salesman, great at selling and seemingly helpful during the sales process. However, it is unfortunate to say post sales is where his positive traits all end. To put things into perspective, we advised by Steven the land title would be sorted in a matter of weeks when we enquired about the house. It has been nearly 2 months and we are still in this limbo after putting a deposit down on auction day. When placed into a difficult situation, Steven prefers to ignore your calls and say things like “don’t contact me”. He lacks any ability to show compassion, understanding, he is unable to put himself in someone else’s shoes and empathise. He has not even once apologised to either of us nor has he tried to show any form of understanding. I believe if he could develop some form of emotional intelligence, he will be a better real estate agent and business owner. I hope he puts his pride aside and learns from this.
