Original market value suggested by the agent was far too high. Much more than we expected. I suggest this was a ploy to secure an agency contract with us. We went along with this noting the rapid decline in the worth of the property as originally suggested by the agent. The final negotiated price was exactly what I had expected prior to engaging an agent. Ipswich is not the market place I would recommend for investors.
