Sue always presented a chatty, sunny disposition and displayed extreme patience in dealing with a couple of vendors who were vacillating between selling and not selling at various stages. She put no pressure on us to reach a decision and just provided us with facts and figures to help us reach a conclusion. During the course of the marketing and also after the property sold; she regularly contacted us with updates and also to see how we were faring with the sale.

In March 2015 I decided to sell my large 4 bedroom house, hoping to move into a Lifestyle Village in Martha Cove. I needed $650,00 to move. My house was valued at $620, 000 plus. After several weeks the highest offer I had received was $600,000. A family member was diagnosed with a terminal illness so I took the house off the market. Sue kept in touch for the next 9 months, including a phone call on Xmas Eve to wish me a Happy Xmas. This was an opportune call as the family had asked me to move in with my elderly sister when her husband died. So I asked Sue to put it back on the market. This time I wanted to sell, Sue helped with advice on de-cluttering & presentation, it was sold after less than 2 weeks on the market, for $550,000. I think the buyers got an extremely good deal, but by that time I was concerned more about people than possessions.
Sue's calm, kind, caring ad bubbly personality made the selling experience easier to manage. She was highly responsive to queries and was exceptionally helpful with our situation following the sale being agreed on. I would say that we chose Harcourts as our selling agents based on Sue's follow up communications with us following the initial valuation. Sue is a great agent and worthe her weight in gold :)
