Yes, it is possible! Sometimes the right conversation with the right person leads to great result and that's exactly what happened when we first met Sugath. We were on the market to buy our first house in one of the most challenging times in the property market; auctions everywhere, not the ideal time if you were in the market to buy. Almost disappointed with the market as we missed out on couple of auctions, we met Sugath while inspecting a property in Mernda. A friendly conversation continued, and one thing led to another. As we were on the market for a while, quickly we realised how knowledgeable Sugath was and his calm and professional attitude got our attention. My experience with Sugath and the FNPV team was extremely positive. To start, I'm in my first home, loving it, was as purchased, so everything went smooth. Sugath and I looked at a few houses together. I found Sugath to be very honest. The first house I looked at, I was naive about what price I could get it for. Sugath was frank in advising me of the current market, it sold a few days later for higher than we were discussing. Lesson learnt. On to my house, inspection on the Thursday night. Offer placed Friday. Accepted Friday afternoon. Contracts all taken care of on the Monday, fast forward 60 days and I have my house. Again, I found negotiating the purchase price easy and as honest as that process can be. With smaller houses (higher quality fixings/landscaping) going for more in the following weeks, I'm sure I secured a reasonable price, without disadvantaging the vendors. Jane was also great to deal with post sale, handling all the paperwork, with my conveyancers, as well as liaising with me on the final inspection.
