Atrocious

Everyone involved lied to us, the house is vermin infested, absolutely filthyl Electricity / power points, not working etc etc, , when they told us all is good and in working order, and yes I do have proof of what I am saying it’s pure filth marketed as the perfect place , agent pushed us to buy knowing it’s filth , and infested , cockroaches and ants being the least of it Very disappointed in the agent passing substandard property and wanting top money, knowing that she and everyone else just told us untruths. Real estate agents should be responsible to how property is marketed and how it is presented AND how it’s handed over at settlement Not just collecting their commission and not caring about the buyer who ends up with filt, etc…because they, agents, get their money It’s been lies and constant lies, and disclosure statements are absolutely useless , more lies upon lies Both seller and agents have lied to our face, over and over, again have proof, it’s very disappointing to come across this business dealings

Hi Tracey, We are sorry to hear that you are feeling so distressed about your experience and we acknowledge how upsetting it can be when a property does not meet expectations after settlement. As the selling agent, our role is to market the property based on information provided by the seller. You first inspected the property on 27/09/2025 and later chose to submit your offer. At no point were you ever pressured to make this decision, the choice to proceed was entirely yours. All buyers are strongly encouraged to undertake their own due diligence as part of the purchasing process, including building, pest and electrical inspections, to ensure the property meets their requirements. These opportunities were available prior to the contract becoming unconditional. You had organised a building and pest inspection, at which you were present, and had ample opportunity to discuss your concerns with the inspector, subsequently you accepted and acknowledged the report findings and went unconditional. In regards to your to concerns about the Form 2 seller disclosure statement, all concerns can be directed to the governor general. We categorically reject any suggestion that we knowingly misrepresented the property or acted dishonestly. At all times, we acted in good faith and in accordance with our professional obligations. We absolutely care about our buyers which is why on settlement myself and several others attended the property to help remove all items that had remained behind, as agents we are not obligated to do so but felt it appropriate. It was very unfortunate that the area was with out power for several days before and after settlement due to a storm and this was completely out of our control. We understand that purchasing property can be stressful, and we encourage any outstanding concerns to be addressed through the appropriate channels. We wish you the very best moving forward.
