We looked at several agents for our property before meeting Tahlia. It was easy to decide that she was our agent: she obviously genuinely liked our house and felt most confident in achieving a great price. She was the only agent who brought us a personalized marketing schedule and plan for selling our house. Also, the McGrath marketing payment \ commission breakdown seems to work far better for the buyer. With most agents, they charge 3.3% and just say marketing 'comes out' of commission. McGrath charge a lower commission and separate out their marketing costs completely. So it's not in their interest to skimp on marketing or offload the property to the first comer: the only way they get a great commission is to get you a great price, and if they house sells quickly before going to market, the only person who saves money is you. You're paying the same amount as with any agent, but more of that money is going towards selling your house. Tahlia marketed our house really well, the photos were amazing and all the supplementary materials were first-rate. And she sold it at the first open house, for significantly more than any other agents had told us we could get. In fact, 3 offers on the day were all over that supposed maximum price offered by other agents. I would recommend Tahlia to anyone selling in the Hunter.
