I walked into several agencies in the area I was wanting to buy, and although they listened, not a single agent contacted me within the week. I had rung Tanita about a property that ended up as unavailable , but she was the only agent that actually sent me a list of properties that were 1) in my price range, 2) were what I actually needed. I liked a property that was tenanted, but Tanita worked with the tenants, the owners and myself for the best outcome for all. Tanita made over a dozen phone calls on the Saturday night, working with my budget and what the owners wanted to get for the property. (Unlike one agent that was pushing me to sign with the threat that "another buyer was prepared to offer more right now" Why wouldn't you take the higher offer for the owner?) Buying this house had the potential to be extremely stressful for me, as a first home buyer, closer to retirement than I like, but Tanita has helped me with recommendations for Building and Pest and Conveyencing that were also a competitive price.
