Appointing Zed Real Estate was one of the most stressful and regrettable decisions I have made! My property sold below Zed's quoted range under an Authority that had expired. Despite agreeing to a 1.1% commission (after the Initial Agreement expired) Zed retained disputed commission and advertising fees after agreeing to hold them in Trust . They also delayed releasing the balance of my deposit for approximately one week after settlement. Most concerningly, I was asked to make a cash payment to a "Buyer's Advocate", something I was deeply uncomfortable with. My advice to sellers is to check every document, get every promise in writing, get an Advertising Schedule that is in keeping with Industry standards and itemised, and exercise caution. I would never use or recommend Zed Real Estate again!
