Thomas was a great agent for buying a property, he is attentive without being pushy, plus he was available when needed. For example: I was not really sure of buying a strata property and he said "Maybe this property is not for you". When I asked he quickly gave me all the details of the strata that I requested. My perspective is from the buyers side. Although I know his duty was to the seller, he was always engaged with me through the sales process. Helping make the sales process easier, whether it was recommending a professional conveyencer (his recommendation was fantastic!), assisting me procuring documents that my financiers required or being simply available for the bank valuers. Thomas was a wonderful agent to deal with. I work late and am usually only available to talk outside regular business hours. Thomas understood this and was happy to take my after hour calls. It’s my second time buying a home and the 22nd move in my lifetime. I have had a fair share of agents cross our paths and most leaving an indifferent taste in our mouths. I knew Thomas was different from the first time we spoke: the day before home open, I called and I asked if I could see the house off-market and if I liked it, we were ready to make an offer. Thomas and I spent almost 1h talking on the phone that night. We just clicked, or he simply cared. No other agent has even taken the time to just… talk, get to know us, as much as Thomas has. The next day we went to home open: we were there for 5 minutes, and 4 of those minutes we talked to Thomas. This was the home - we just knew it. And we told him: we are putting an offer and this is our home. He felt it too, I’m sure. Because he fought for us. We talked many times that day and at night, when the sellers were ready to call it, Thomas, without many words said they had another offer so close to us and if we wanted it, we needed to raise it. Multiple offers are never fun… we have been through many. But this one we secured at a rate we were still comfortable with and it’s all thanks to Thomas. He wasn’t greedy, he wasn’t a sellers-only agent… he wanted to get that home to the people the sellers wanted to sell their home to <3 and I’m so happy Thomas felt it too.
