Settled at 1.30pm but still didn’t get the key until 5pm due to cleaning - should have done that days or weeks ago not on the day of the settlement. Also, the contract clearly said the sales comes with a fridge and a dryer but they were all removed. We only knew this when we did the final inspection. Honestly we would maybe keep the dryer since we didn’t have one and sell or dispose the fridge anyway. However, a text message or an email would be more professional than just throwing them away without asking us. We could have delayed the settlement and requested the items to be put back but we were already stressed about the pandemic so we just want it to be done quick. Food for thought, check the contract and communicate with the vendor and the purchaser first before moving everything away. That’s basically stealing from us.

Thomas provided an honest and balanced approach at every point of our appraise to offer to settlement process.
