Having experienced multiple property transactions from both aspects our experience in this latest transaction was smooth and uncomplicated by comparison. There weren't any games or silent auction tactics that are exercised by some real estate agents. Tiana Ward of McGrath Real Estate, The Ponds was upfront and thoroughly professional. In the current sellers market it is only natural for the agent to pursue the highest possible sale price for the vendor, unfortunately some agents take this to the extreme. As a result we refused to view any other properties marketed by particular high profile agent in the area during our latest search for property. Tiana was upfront and professional and a pleasure to deal with. Her incredible knowledge of the area was an added benefit giving us additional confidence to proceed with this purchase. Her personal approach also counted and was highlighted when she acknowledged our adolescent daughters, they were involved in the decision making process of this purchase. It's the simple but important personal gestures that are often missed. I would not hesitate to recommend Tiana to anyone. As a local of the Hills area, she has some great knowledge, both pertaining to real estate and our new neighbourhood, that she is always eager to share. She comes across as friendly and warm straight away, rather than "all business" as some real estate agents can be. Her communication skills in particular are excellent. She was easy to talk to and understand, and she always called when she said she was going to. She also kept in touch via text message, which was a great way to be kept updated without having to take time out of a busy schedule to talk on the phone. She really went above and beyond what I'd expect as a buyer. She didn't lose interest in us as soon as the contract was signed, and offered to open the property for us a couple of times so we could show family members our new home. She seemed genuinely happy that we got the perfect house for our family, which was really nice. Overall I found Tiana to be honest, reliable and professional, a real pleasure to deal with.
