Tim had spent years dreaming of living on the Copper Coast, now with his family by his side he is able to work and live in the area he loves. As Tim puts it, “I get an enormous amount of satisfaction from helping people achieve their property goals, be it buying or selling.” This former pastor, electrician, manager, photographer and father of three has called the Copper Coast home since 2004 and is excited to be servicing the expanding centres of Kadina, Moonta, Moonta Bay, Port Hughes and Wallaroo.
Polite, personable, honest, and dependable and definitely a people person, Tim commenced selling real estate in 1993 in the city but has made a name for himself with a long-term focus on SA beachside and coastal markets.
He says that it is not unusual for some country agents to carry many hundreds of listings, often with the result that many vendors are left feeling undervalued and dissatisfied. With this in mind, Tim ensures that his number of listings remain small and has partnered with Craig Costello so that each sale receives the attention it deserves.
He recognises that by having fewer listings he is able to deliver that special mix of modern technology such as savvy social media exposure, clever online marketing and a state of the art buyer data base and also the critical old fashion service of holding open inspections, talking regularly with vendors and following up buyers to be able to match them to properties; some of the keys to successful results.
Tim describes his relationship with his vendors as, “We are a team, I have a large part to play and so does the vendors. We need to understand each other and be open to having the tough discussions about price, direction and results.”
