Full disclosure, Tara is my daughter in-law I first listed the property with a local agent as Tim & Tara’s office is not in this area Tara and Tim looked at the previous agents marketing and after 3 months of no activity with the local agent. Tim agreed to allow Tara to take over the property listing. They came up with a fantastic marketing strategy that within 48 hours of Tara listing the property she had a signed contract, cash buyer who wanted an early settlement. Couldn’t recommend Tara and the team more highly I’m sure they would get a lot of listings in this are if they chose to expand their footprint.

Thank you, Kerry and Kevin, this is certainly an example of the fact that not all agents are the same and marketing strategies vary. Some offices do a lot more than others, reach more buyers than others and more skill is required than many people realise. Skilled agents achieve many sales and achieve more money for their clients while less skilled and lazy agents do not achieve a good price for their clients and as a result don't sell much at all.
