Tim did a letter box drop in our street so we decided to contact him and see what he was like. He was very personable, did not rush us and seemed to know the area. He was listed as a lifestyle property agent to us, so we assumed that he had experience in this sector. He gave us a valuation range, and then over a couple of months brought us 3 or 4? offers from prospective purchasers well out of this range (40-50k out of range). We understand that our house was not perfect, and needed a few things like carpet through much of the ground floor, but the valuation was supposed to take this into consideration. 6 months or so after listing we were introduced to a prospective purchaser, and with a couple of back and forths, agreed to sell to them - about 30k below the valuation range we were given. We feel Tim did an OK job for us, not exceptional, just OK.
Our house was listed with another agent for months without results, we changed to Tim at Harcourts and he found a buyer within a week.
