Buying, selling and moving house is a stressful experience for everyone, but our experience in selling our home with Toby was as good as it gets. He was the agent who sold it to us seven years ago, and we had been very impressed then by his calm, straightforward approach. He kept in touch over the years - just occasionally, no pressure, just checking in to let us know that if we ever did decide to move again, he could help us. When we finally did make that decision, he was the only agent we called - we had no doubt that he would do a great job for us. His greatest strengths are probably his love of simplicity, and the ability to offer direct and honest responses to any question. If there’s a problem, he solves it. If there’s going to be a problem, he predicts it, and ensures it doesn’t happen. For us, he was the perfect agent. There for us whenever we needed him, and never forcing unnecessary contact. He and his team ensured that everything went smoothly, and his knowledge of the area and extensive database of clients meant that we were able to find a buyer before the house even went onto the market. From then on, he dealt with us and the buyers as equals, ensuring that communication was clear and that everyone knew what was happening.
