Before I purchased my property through Toby Murrill, I had been looking at properties for approximately 5 months. I had put offers on 3 places, all of which required me to deal with a range of agents. As I have many times expressed to Toby, not one of these experiences were positive. As part of this process, I was disregarded, ignored, lied to and bullied on multiple occasions. Yet it remained my firm belief that in the process of selling a house, you should not alienate a buyer who may one day potentially want to sell with you. It is therefore very pleasing for me to say that my final experience in purchasing a property was with an incredibly professional and caring agent. Although it is undoubtedly Toby's job to serve the best interests of his client, I was also treated as an important part of the buying process. Toby never pushed me into signing anything I was uncomfortable with, and was upfront about the expectations of the client from the beginning. I should note that buying this property was not the easiest process for me. I inspected the property twice, and even had my builder inspect a third time before committing. Toby was gracious in negotiating with the vendors for me to do this. Furthermore, I had difficulty in gaining finance through a broker-suggested bank, which lengthened the process of the sale considerably. Toby was incredibly patient, even when I could not commit completely to the sale with a firm deposit. He also took multiple phone calls from me, both within and out of professional working hours. More than anything though, it was the consideration that Toby has shown me that has dropped my cynicism when dealing with property agents. By the time I got to this property, I had pigeonholed all agents as despicable. Toby has really changed my mind about this, as I feel that he genuinely cared about getting the best result for both the vendors and the buyer. And in my experience, that is a rare find indeed.

Toby helped us for over a year while we got our house ready for market. He offered great advice and nothing was too much, or in fact any trouble. When we were finally ready to list our house for sale, he was with us through every step, putting our minds at ease about the whole process.
