We chose Tom O'Gorman to sell a family member's deceased estate property in Kincumber. Tom engaged with us immediately, was very polite at all times and his knowledge of real estate and its workings extensive. He arranged open houses and an auction which suddenly had to be terminated half a day before the said time, due to a beneficiary's request. The issue was quickly resolved, so Tom rearranged his time and appointments, contacted interested parties from first auction day, had the auction in next few days with an outstanding outcome. Much better than anticipated, but I think it was Tom's professionalism and organisation which generated the activity and final bid. He worked very hard and hurriedly as time was a problem. We appreciated that very much. We can highly recommend Tom to deal with any real estate business you may have.
As an older lady who has never sold a house in Australia before Tom explained all the necessary requirements I would need to do or make. He gave me all the information on how the house would be marketed and where it would be advertised. He introduced me to his team who were all positive and made suggestions to aid selling the property. Tom knew I was apprehensive about selling the house and he assured me that if I had any fears or concerns he would be there to allay them. And he was. After a buyer signed and then tried to knock the price down for no reason he suggested we contact another potential buyer. They were still interested and the first buyers agreed to drop out ( I don’t think they could really afford it) and ten days later we have completed the exchange.
