For some time I had been looking at properties that I could afford as a single, first home buyer. I had seen a unit in Lockleys on the net but thought it would be way outside my price range because it was in a more upmarket suburb, however it was just across the road from where I had been looking. After just missing an Open Inspection on the property I decided to contact the agent via Realestate.com to ask when the next Open Inspection was planned. I was very pleasantly surprised by how quickly I had a phone call from Tom Royal. With no planned opens Tom arranged for me and my parents to have a private viewing when it suited us, although outside of office hours. He was very open in communicating, willing to answer all my questions - with no recent family experience of home buying. Soon after he went the extra mile to speak with the strata manager about a potential significant issue with the property on my behalf which was identified at the Building Inspection during the cooling off period. Although I have heard that buying a property is never without a few hiccups along the way even with the best real estate agent, my experience of buying my home with Tom Royal has been much easier than I had expected and Tom kept me updated every step of the way even though I couldn't be contacted by phone during working hours. I felt confident buying with Tom Royal and I felt like he was helping me as well as the vendor, not solely working for the vendor like some other agents I have met during my property search. I would feel very confident recommending Tom Royal as Agent for any of my friends and family either for buying or selling a property as the experience I have had made me feel comfortable that my decision to buy this new home was the right one for me.

My wife and I were extremely impressed with Tom's work during the sale of our house. He was professional and highly competent. Prior to working with Tom we had had many unhappy experiences with Real Estate agents and we entered the sale with trepidation. Tom quickly made us feel comfortable. He was always available to discuss any aspect of the sale and kept the communications lines between us open at all times. He is particularly skilled at organising the IT aspects of the sale, including photography, developing the brochures and setting up the internet adverting. We went around this loop a couple of times to get things just right and Tom had no issues with our desire to get things perfect. Tom was the junior partner in the sale and whilst the senior partner was on holidays he became directly involved in the negotiations which eventuated in a successful final sale. I would recommend Tom to friends, something I rarely do.
