When we were going to sell our house I went on line and looked at open agent to see who we can choose in the Marrickville area. Richardson & Wrench, Day & Hodgson & L.J.Hooker were the three that were recommended. We first met with Richard Perry from Richardson & Wrench at our house for about four hours and we didn't feel comfortable with some of the comments he made and he waffled on too much and we couldn't be rude to tell him to leave. Then we decided to meet Tony Day at our house and immediately felt comfortable with him. He knew exactly what our circumstances were and worked out a stategy to suit us. He was credible, honest and obliging in every way, I would not hesitate for one minute to recommend Tony to anyone. When we decided to go with Tony Day as our agent I phoned Richard Perry as a courtesy and boy did I get a shock with his comments. He was so unprofessional and unethical in his comments I knew straight away we made the right decision. When anyone starts to bad mouth their competitors and tell me I have made the wrong decision and do everything to persuade us to go with him, I wanted to hang up on him but I wanted to see how far he would go. In the end I told him not to contact me anymore and told him what I thought of him.
