Horrible and disappointing
Brought a property from Tony that had a tenant in it, I was told by Tony that the tenant would be given a 60 day vacate notice and that settlement would happen 17/7/2020, then after the O&A was accepted Tony informed me that the tenant had a lease that didn’t expire until 10/10/2020, the property lease was also managed by PEARD realty Hillary’s same office that Tony works in. He asked me to move the settlement date to 10/10 which I refused and choose to charge penalty rates until I could get vacate possession which had to be paid by PEARD as it wasn’t the sellers fault. I got the building inspection done and the report said that the gutters had to be cleaned as they were overflowing and causing water damage to the eves and garage ceiling, I informed Tony of this and he sent me a text on the 19/6 to say that the seller was getting them cleaned, PEARD property manager should have organised this but it never gone done so I now have to replace the garage ceiling as it is collapsing due to the gutters overflowing. Even after the tenants lease expired he still refused to move and I had to get a 30 days to vacate or I’m taking you to court notice served, the tenant finally moved out on the 12/11 and I did the final inspection on Friday the 13/11 and the tenant didn’t clean the property, no carpets cleaned, the oven was caked in 2 years worth of crap, fat sprayed up the kitchen walls, urine on the toliet floors, a years worth of dog poo in the backyard, the bathroom vanity had been cut into with a knife, a massive hole in the study carpet with pieces of chewing gum stuck to it, the windows and blinds were filthy, shower door broken, mirror in ensuite fell of wall, absolutely disgusting, PEARD property manager obviously didn’t care that the tenant damaged the property as he didn’t lose any of his bond and they just leased him another property. Worse experience I have had buying a property, I don’t have a positive word to say about Tony or PEARD Realty Hillary’s.
