I have been dealing with Troy McRae at Elders in Alstonville since October 1998. So it was only obvious to stick with someone that I knew so well. My 5 bedroom and 3 bathroom property with an unusual layout and large trees on a large block, with a dual occupancy, sharing the same hot water CL2 electricity meter, it was going to take longer than usual to sell. I was not in a hurry and being in my 80th year was just getting my assets slowly in order. With a limited number of buyers it did take several months. Covid 19 came to my aid though with the huge increase in sale prices due to the exodus of buyers fleeing capital cities. Settlement went like clockwork last Tuesday 16 February 2021 with Jensens Solicitors from Lennox Head working hand in hand with Troy and Bec at Elders in Alstonville. Even the rates and water charges were paid at settlement. Which I suppose is normal, but it made me more stress free.
