Having to put my mum's house on the market after she passed away was one of the hardest things I had to do. I chose Valerie, not only because she is a friend of the family but she really truly looked after me, and worked extremely hard to get the best possible price she could for me. She really truly looked after me and went far and beyond (including after hours) even though she didn't have to. She really cares about the people and does everything in her power to help them. Firstly, we chose Valerie as our agent to sell our property because as previous buyers in the market, she always kept in contact. So now being on the other side of the coin trying to sell our own property, we knew she would be contacting as many potential buyers on our behalf to seek more interest in our property. For example, when we were looking to buy our new home I phoned a number of realestate agents in town to express our interest, and explain what we were looking for. Out of all the agents we contacted, Valerie was the only one who consistently kept us up to date with new properties coming on the market that we might be interested in. We received several phone calls, emails and texts notifying us of properties in our price range even before they hit the web, which gave us the upper hand as a buyer. So on the flip side, when we knew we had to find an agent to sell our property, we were confident that Valerie would be proactive in finding us a buyer. She provided us with honest feedback and always kept communication lines open. We felt like our opinions were highly valued and she supported our decisions while also providing us with professional support and advice.
