Vanya was our agent but we never met her during the whole process. She afforded us two to three phone calls only and on her terms, when she had time for us. She worked for the buyer rather than us as the sellers. Vanya sold our property for $20,000 less than what we agreed on and assured us she would not allow the buyer to nit-pick over cosmetic elements of the home. She then manipulated us to believe some of the cosmetic requests needed to be fixed as part of the building and pest. She then lied to us about the contract date, initially telling us the buyer wanted a standard 30 day contract but sneakily pushed it out to a 45 day contract without our consultation. This cost us another $1500 in payments. Then when we questioned Vanya on this, she stopped all contact with us. The new owner received a beautiful Hamper on settlement day, and we got an exorbitant invoice to pay her as our parting gift. Such poor service by Vanya and we have been left disgusted that real estate agents are free to treat sellers like this when they do nothing for us. We filled out form upon form for her - why didn’t she assist us with any of that? DO NOT choose their premium sales package, it is NOT worth it. Do your research and don’t be dazzled by her claims she is the number one seller. We now know she has this “title” because she lies and rips sellers off. Certainly not worth the $18,600 in commission.
