I approached Vicky to help me find a property for myself and my boys after dealing with a few agents who insisted on telling me what they thought I wanted in a house, rather than listening to what I actually needed. After one conversation I knew she was the agent for us. Within days she was suggesting relevant houses, as if they were tailored specifically for us. She understood my need for sectional living (having a sixteen yr old, three yr old, and a neurotic dog) and was very sensitive to our situation as a grieving family. (My husband passed away last year and I had very definite things I required in a home in order to honour my husband's memory.) In the end, Vicky organised a private inspection of the house we bought, understanding the whole time that this was not your usual happy circumstances of buying ... and helped us negotiate an option for an earlier settlement in our contract. She put up with my calls from the highway, while I was stuck in traffic on the way from Melbourne, and patiently walked through the house with me as I did final inspection. I may not have been able to buy my first home with my husband, as we had always planned, but I truly believe he sent Vicky and 16 Jack Court our way. She was my first official welcome to Ballarat and I'll always appreciate everything she has done for my family.
