I chose Vincent after renting my property initially through Run RE which was subsequently acquired by Little RE and appreciating the service provided in managing the tenants, negotiations and maintenance issues. Over the 12 months prior to listing for sale I attempted to monitor market conditions via a number of sources, including a few local agents. Vincent was the only agent that took the time and interest to understand my motivation for selling and focus on that in keeping me informed of market conditions continually over that period but allowing me to select the timing of the sale. Once the sale process commenced, Vincent provided sound advice on the strategy, but was quick to recognise changing conditions and adapt the strategy accordingly. The changed conditions proved exceedingly challenging as many interested parties stood back immediately prior to the auction which produced a single bidder with a price well below reserve. Vincent's negotiating skills managed to bring that bidder to an acceptable (above reserve) price over the week following the auction and on through a smooth and stress free settlement process. The final price was at the bottom end of the expectation I had built up during the exuberant market of the preceding few months but far in excess of that bid at the auction.
